It is probably best as a morning "pick me up coffee", however I enjoy it even late into the evening...

fabulous coffee experience - try it!

I wouldn't recommend this to a friend. I'd recommend this coffee to everybody....and I do!! Being on a VERY strict budget, every so often I treat myself to this fine coffee. From all that I have tasted, from Blue Mountain to Kona to other well known coffee makers, THIS is simply "The Best"!! (at least in my opinion as a lover of finely made coffees) Although I am very sorry to see that the dark roast is no longer available, this still makes for a superb cup of coffee. Don't be fooled by coffees on store shelves claiming that it's made from beans from Costa Rica. As we all know, a bean does not a coffee make, but the "right bean" does and GMCR always seems to find them! Living in Southern Vermont I hope to visit this spring. The company and the personnel that work for it makes the State of Vermont proud. Keep up the great work!!

We first became aware of and acquainted with Costa Rican peaberry coffee several years ago when we cruised through the Panama Canal and Costa Rica was a port of call. We toured a coffee plantation (Doka Plantation) and bought some peaberry coffee at their gift shop. We loved it!!! Since then, I have been trying to find it and was elated when I got your catalog and you carried it. We have signed up for recurring delivery.

I recently joined the Green Mountain Coffee Club and I got my first shipment yesterday. I immediately made a pot of the Costa Rica Peaberry Select. I poured a cup and took a sip. MMMMMMMMMMM!!!! So so good! Very satisfying and smooth. No bitter taste at all. If you like a lighter roast coffee, I HIGHLY recommend this one.
