How do I register my brewer?

Registering your Keurig® home brewer online is easy. Log onto www.Keurig.com, at the bottom of the home page click “Register Brewer” then sign in or create a new account, enter your brewer information, and click Submit. The information you will need to provide is the brewer serial number and the date and place of purchase.

For the K-Cup® brewing systems the serial number is on the bottom of the brewer, or behind the removable drip tray. For Vue® brewing systems, the serial number is on the interior body behind the removable water reservoir.

Please note: Keurig licensed brewers should be registered directly with the manufacturer. See contact information below.

For Mr. Coffee brewer with Keurig Brewed® technology, please contact Mr. Coffee Customer Service at 1-800-672-6333 or go to the Mr. Coffee web site at www.MrCoffee.com.

My brewer is no longer working. How do I find out if it’s still under warranty?

What do I do if I find grinds in my cup?
Answer

Coffee grounds may have gathered in the exit needle.

To clean the needle, follow these steps:

  • Remove and clean the exit needle in accordance with the K-Cup® Pack Holder cleaning instructions in your user guide. How to Clean the Needles and K-Cup® Pack Holder.
  • Perform a small cup cleansing brew and look for grounds coming out.
  • Repeat the cleansing brews to clear out any residual grounds.

If you are using the MY K-Cup® Reusable Coffee Filter, please make sure that you are using a course grind. You should only fill the mesh basket to the bottom of the brown band, which is approximately 2.5 tbs.

If you have not done so recently, it is also recommended that you descale your brewer. Please refer to the descaling instructions in your user guide or click here to learn how to descale your brewer.

How do I clean/descale my brewer?
Answer
Your brewer should be descaled at least every 3-6 months. Scale is harmless, but if left unattended, it can hinder the optimal performance of your brewer. Descaling your brewer regularly helps maintain the heating element, the removable water reservoir, and other parts of the brewer that come in contact with water. Better water quality and water heating means a better cup of beverage of choice. Keurig recommends you descale your brewer every 6 months (every 3 months if your water has a high mineral content). The descaling process involves using 48 ounces of undiluted white vinegar. Please refer to the descaling instructions in your user guide or click here to learn how to descale your brewer.

Why am I not getting the full amount of beverage selected?
Answer

If your brewer is not brewing the full amount selected; it may be caused by the following:

  • The exit needle is clogged by coffee grounds. Please refer to the K-Cup® Pack Holder cleaning instructions in your user guide.
  • The brewer may need to be descaled. Please refer to the descaling instructions in your user guide.
  • The removable water reservoir was removed during brewing. Place the water reservoir back onto the brewer and perform a cleansing brew without a K-Cup® pack.
