SPONSOR: The Sponsor of this Sweepstakes is Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc., 33 Coffee Lane, Waterbury, VT 05676 (“Sponsor” or “GMCR”).

ENTRY PERIOD: The GMCR Ski Getaway Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins 5:00:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) December 1, 2007 and ends 11:59:59 PM EST March 21, 2008 (the "Sweepstakes Period"). This Sweepstakes has two components consisting of four (4) periodic Entry Periods with two (2) prize drawings each period. Periodic Entry Periods for each period Prize drawing are as follows:

• Period 1: Beginning December 1, 2007 at 5:00:00 PM EST and ending December 31, 2007 at 11:59:59 PM EST
• Period 2: Beginning December 31, 2007 at 12:00:00 AM EST and ending January 25, 2008 at 11:59:59 PM EST
• Period 3: Beginning January 25, 2008 at 12:00:00 AM EST and ending February 22, 2008 at 11:59:59 PM EST
• Period 4: Beginning February 22, 2008 at 12:00:00 AM EST and ending March 21, 2008 at 11:59:59 PM EST

There is a limit of one (1) online entry per person (regardless of whether a person has more than one email address) per email address (regardless of whether more than one person uses the same email address) per periodic Entry Period, for a maximum of four (4) entries per person/per email address and an additional five (5) online referral bonus entries during the Sweepstakes period. All entries become property of GMCR and will not be returned.

(i) ONLINE ENTRY: To enter, visit http://www.GreenMountain.com/ski to access the online entry form. Complete the entry form and submit so that it is received before the end of the applicable Entry Period. Multiple ONLINE entries from the same person using multiple email addresses during a single Entry Period or entries generated by a script, macro, or other automated means will be disqualified. All entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. Incomplete entries are void.

 (ii) ON-LINE REFERRAL BONUS ENTRIES: You have the option of providing up to five (5) different friends'/relatives' email addresses to obtain a maximum of five (5) additional on-line referral bonus entries. Friends and relatives must be 18 years or older by December 1, 2007. You may submit these email addresses via the ONLINE entry method only. When you provide GMCR with friends'/relatives' email addresses, GMCR may send an email to your friend/relative, inviting him/her to visit the "Ski Getaway" Sweepstakes web site to enter the Sweepstakes. If he/she chooses to enter at the "Ski Getaway" Sweepstakes web site, he/she will be given the option of opting in to the GMCR mailing list. If your friend/relative chooses not to be added to the GMCR mailing list, he/she will not receive any further correspondence unless he/she is selected as a prizewinner. You must obtain each friend's/relative's permission to submit his/her information prior to submitting your entry. You may only enter each friend's/relative's information once. Original entrant's friend/relative will not be entered unless he/she visits www. GreenMountain.com/ski and submits an online entry form.

(iii) EMAIL CHANGE OF ADDRESS POLICY: It is the sole responsibility of the entrant to notify GMCR if his or her email address changes. To do so, send an email to customercare@gmcr.com.

PRIZES/RESTRICTIONS: Four (4) periodic Grand Prizes and four (4) periodic first prizes will be awarded during the entire Sweepstakes Period.

ALL PRIZES ARE AWARDED “AS-IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE EXCLUDED. WINNERS AGREE TO ACCEPT PRIZES “AS-IS.”

GRAND PRIZES:   Four (4) Grand Prize Periodic Prizes will be awarded during this Sweepstakes, one (1) in each periodic Entry Period.

(A)  The Grand Prize for Aspen Snowmass located in Aspen, Colorado consists of two four-day lift tickets, two four-day ski/snowboard rentals and a lodging package for two consisting of  4 nights of lodging at the Five Star Diamond Hotel, The Little Nell and  one dinner at Little Nell’s finest, Montagna Restaurant

(B)  Trip to Stowe Mountain Resort Grand Prize.   The Grand Prize for Stowe Mountain Resort located in Stowe, Vermont consists of a five day lift and lodging package for four, including five nights of lodging, double occupancy in the room category of the resort’s choice at Stowe Mountain Resort, four five-day lift tickets, four one day high performance ski or snowboard rentals, one lunch for four at the Cliff House Restaurant and four spa treatments.

(C)  The Grand Prize for Sugarbush Resort located in Warren, Vermont consists of lodging for two people (double occupancy) for two nights in the Clay Brook Hotel and Residences and two days of skiing for two.

(D)  Trip to Jay Peak Resort Grand Prize.   The Grand Prize for Jay Peak Resort, located in Jay, Vermont, consists of a 5-night lodging packages for 2 people that includes lodging in a 2-bedroom Village Condominium and a 5-day lift ticket per person.  Valid midweek, non-holiday.

Restrictions apply to all Grand Prize awards. 

Each Grand Prize  also includes airfare and transportation consisting of up to $1,000 allowable travel expenses arranged by Sponsor’s designated travel agency for the following combined airfare and transportation: (a) round-trip coach class air transportation for Grand Prize Winner and one (1) guest from an airport of Sponsor’s choice near Grand Prize Winner's residence to an airport near the corresponding periodic grand prize ski resort and (b) up to 4 days’ rental of a Compact-class rental car. All travel must be completed within one (1) year of winner notification. All travel is subject to all applicable travel restrictions. Hotel accommodations and air travel and car rental are subject to availability at time of booking. Some blackout dates may apply. Other restrictions, conditions and limitations may apply. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates. No cancellation or transfer to another date after a reservation has been made. All fees, expenses and other costs not expressly stated in the package description above, including but not limited to ground transportation, meals, personal charges at lodging, security fees, taxes or other expenses or incidentals, are the sole responsibility of each Grand Prize Winner. If in the opinion of Sponsor, air travel to and from the Winner’s address and the corresponding ski resort is not required, ground transportation will be substituted. Travel companion (guest) must travel on same itinerary and at the same time as the Winner. Unless a child of the Grand Prize Winner, the travel companion must be 18 years or older as of December 1, 2007.

FIRST PRIZES:  Four (4) First Prize Prizes will be awarded during this Sweepstakes, one (1) in each periodic Entry Period.  Each First Prize consists of the First Prize Winner's choice of one of the two First Prize Options: 1) First Prize Choice #1: one (1) Keurig Single-Cup B60 Brewer and two (2) boxes of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters K-Cups delivered to the First Prize winner's home every month for one year (estimated retail value: $567.00); or 2) First Prize Choice #2: Two (2) 10-12oz. Bags of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters coffee delivered to the Grand Prize Winner's home every month for one (1) year. (ARV $272)
ARV of each First Prize: $272.00-$567.00 depending on flavors and varieties selected.  ARV of all First Prizes is $1,088 - $2,268.

ARV of all prizes is $20,018.

Sponsor’s Kona coffee, Special Reserve coffees and Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee varieties are excluded from this Sweepstakes.

All prizes will be awarded.

ODDS OF WINNING:  Odds of winning are dependent upon the total number of eligible entries received.

RELEASE:  Each potential Grand Prize Winner and their designated travel companion must execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and, where permitted, a Publicity Release within fifteen (15) days following notification by Sponsor. All potential first prize winners must execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and, where permitted, a Publicity Release within fifteen (15) days following notification by Sponsor. Failure to execute applicable releases or otherwise comply with these Official Rules will result in forfeiture of any prize and disqualification from this Sweepstakes.

TAXES AND OTHER RESTRICTIONS AND CONDITIONS:  All federal, state, and local taxes on any prize are the sole responsibility of the winner and all federal, state and local taxes apply. Prizes are not transferable, not returnable, and cannot be sold or redeemed for cash. Sponsor issues each winner an IRS Form 1099 for the retail prize value for tax reporting purposes. No substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Sponsor's sole discretion. Prize consists only of those items specifically listed as part of the prize. All items, costs or expenses not specifically listed as part of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded.

No assignment, transfer, cash redemption, or substitution of prize is permitted, provided that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any listed prize for one of equal or greater value if the designated prize should become unavailable for any reason.

In the event of noncompliance with these requirements, the potential Grand Prize or First Prize winners may be disqualified and an alternate winner selected, at Sponsor's discretion. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

DRAWING: One (1) periodic Grand Prize winner and one (1) periodic First Prize winner will be selected by Sponsor each period in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the applicable periodic Entry Period. Periodic Prize drawings will be conducted on or about January 15, 2008, February 10, 2008, March 10, 2008, and April 4, 2008 by GMCR. Winners will be notified within approximately fifteen (15) days of the drawing by email, phone, or postal mail at Sponsor's discretion, and must respond by 5:00 PM EST on the fifteenth (15th) day following the first attempted notification by GMCR (the "Response Period"). Return of a prize notification as undeliverable or failure to respond within the Response Period will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected. If the winner chooses not to accept any Grand Prize or any First Prize, an alternate winner will be chosen. In the event of a dispute, entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at time of entry. Limit ONE (1) First Prize and ONE (1) Grand Prize per person.   Unless otherwise noted, allow 6-8 weeks for delivery of First Prizes by mail following completion of notification and prize acceptance process. Prizes will only be delivered to addresses within the United States.

PUBLICITY: Except where prohibited, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes the winner's consent to Sponsor's use of winner's name, likeness, voice, opinions, biographical information, hometown and state for Sponsor’s  purposes in any media in perpetuity without further payment or consideration.

GENERAL RELEASE: By participating and/or submitting an entry in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree: (a) to these Official Rules and all decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final in all respects relating to this Sweepstakes; and (b) to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers and employees and agents from and against any claim, cause of action, liability or expense (including attorneys' fees) arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any Prize.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY, DISPUTES: If, for any reason, the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, whether due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. In the event of termination, a random drawing to award the Grand Prizes and First Prizes will be conducted from entries received up until the time of termination, if such a drawing can be fairly conducted in Sponsor's judgment.

Sponsor is not responsible for (i) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer, cable, network, hardware or software, printing or typographical errors or lost, illegible or incomplete entries; (ii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any providers, transmissions or telephone or Internet service; (iii) unauthorized human intervention in or unauthorized alteration to any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (iv) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; or (v) any injury or damage to persons or property, including but not limited to entrant's computer, hardware or software, which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes.

Entrant agrees that as a condition of entering the Sweepstakes: (i) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the state and federal courts of the State of Vermont; (ii) by participating or submitting an entry in the Sweepstakes, entrant consents to the personal jurisdiction and subject matter jurisdiction of such courts for such purpose; (iii) the parties waive any right to trial by jury; (iv) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred by entrant, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes but in no event entrant's attorneys' fees; and (v) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain award for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and further waives any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. GOVERNING LAW: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Vermont, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law Official Rules.
