Sourcing
A great cup of coffee begins where the beans are grown: high on a mountain, in warm soil fed by gentle, tropical rains. The finest beans display region-specific flavors and aroma that reflect the farm or estate where they are grown.
Whenever possible, we take a "high-touch" approach to sourcing our beans. Our coffee buyers are constantly on the road, visiting farms and getting to know our farmer partners. We value long-term trade agreements because we know the quality of our coffee is directly related to the quality of the relationship we have with the people who grow it.
Join us on a virtual tour of some of the world's finest coffee-growing regions.

Mexico
The Unión Regional de Pequeños Productores de Café Huatusco boasts more than 1908
small farmers, including 600 women, among its members. We've bought coffee from
them since 1996 and each year they host a group of our employees for a few days
of coffee tasting, cherry-picking and friendship. Come
with us to visit this very special place.
Tanzania
Grown near the boundaries of Tanzania's Gombe National Park, the spring-like temperatures
and predictable rainfall provide ideal habitat for both chimpanzees and world-class
coffee. One sip and you'll be transported to where
the wild things are.
