What's a CVC code? Why am I being asked for it at Checkout?
Answer

A CVC code, or "Card Verification Code" is a new method of credit card protection both for consumers, and online merchants. It's a three-digit code that's printed (but not embossed) on the back of your VISA, Discover or MasterCard, or a four-digit code printed on the face of your American Express.

How do I redeem a gift certificate?
Answer

If you have a paper Gift Certificate received prior to August 2012 call our Customer Care Department, 7 days a week 6 a.m.-8 p.m. Eastern Time, at 888-879-4627 and we'll be happy to redeem your gift certificate on your order over the phone.

If you have an eGift Card Certificate, you may redeem it when placing an online Order using the steps below and entering your eGift Card Number in the Gift Card or Certificate box at Checkout.

  • Go to www.GreenMountainCoffee.com and sign in using your email address and password.
  • Add the items of your choice to your shopping cart.
  • At Checkout, enter your eGift Certificate Number into Gift Card or Certificate box: and click 'Apply'.
  • You will see your discount reflected in your cart total.
  • Proceed through checkout.
  • Enjoy.

What's a keycode? Where can I get one?
Answer

Shoppers sometimes receive discounts or special offers in the form of a keycode. Keycodes are not required, but if you have one you’ll want to use it; it can save you money! You may receive a keycode in the mail, with our print catalog, or through our email newsletter. If you receive our print catalog, you’ll find your keycode (the letters and numbers within the yellow box) on the back of your catalog. This yellow box is near your name and address. If you receive an email, the keycode is located in copy at the bottom of the email.

You may enter a keycode in the Shopping Cart, or when you fill out your billing information during Checkout. Click the Apply button to see the discount applied to your order.

Keycodes are not valid on recurring Café Express orders or previous orders and may not be combined with other keycode offers. As a Café Express member you may use as keycode offer by placing a one-time order in your shopping cart and enter the keycode at Checkout and click apply.

My order didn't process, why is there a charge on my account?
Answer

When you pay with a credit card or debit card, a pre-authorization hold is placed on your account until your merchandise ships. If there is a delay in fulfilling your order, we will again request authorization from your bank to verify that funds are still available.

When your merchandise ships, GreenMountainCoffee.com charges your account; and the actual withdrawal takes place.

How do I pay for my online order?

Credit Cards
We accept the following credit cards online: American Express, MasterCard, VISA, and Discover. To pay by credit card simply enter your card information on the Billing page during Checkout before you complete your order. If you'd prefer to not enter your credit card information online, you may call our Customer Care Department 7 days a week from 6 a.m.-8 p.m. Eastern Time at 888-879-4627, and we'll be happy to complete your order over the phone.

Debit Cards
When you make a debit card purchase, your bank immediately places a hold on your account for that amount. When your merchandise ships, GreenMountainCoffee.com charges your account and the actual withdrawal takes place. If there is a delay in fulfilling your order, we will again request authorization from your bank to verify that funds are still available.
For your security, please do not email us your credit card information.

Café Express Orders
When you pay with a credit or debit card, a pre-authorization hold is placed on your account three to five days prior to the release of each Café Express recurring shipment. When your merchandise ships, GreenMountainCoffee.com charges your account and the actual withdrawal takes place.

Can I print a receipt of my transaction?
Answer

Yes! We encourage you to print the receipt page that you'll see upon completing your order. Additionally, we will email an orders confirmation with your order’s estimated ship date; then later, when your package ships, we'll email you a shipping confirmation. You may choose whether you'd like to receive these as text-only messages, or HTML.

Why am I being charged sales tax?
