This coffee boasts a distinct brightness in the forefront, yet it is well-rounded throughout. The bitter chocolate flavor is calmed by sweet caramel undertones and finishes with a lingering astringency. This coffee is friendly enough to drink black but just as friendly with a touch of milk and sweetener.
Aromatic notes of roasty chocolate, aromatic wood and remote fruitiness. Medium to full body, smooth mouthfeel and soft acidity that hints at brightness. A faint suggestion of flowers and sweet citrus in the cup round to fruit-toned chocolate. Finishes cleanly, with mild notes of toast, roastiness and cocoa in the long.— Kenneth Davids, CoffeeReview.com, September, 2009
Some professionals need to approach their jobs slowly and with a great deal of care. Like tightrope walkers. Or brain surgeons. Or tattoo artists. At Tully's®, the same holds true for creating great coffee. It takes a lot of time and patience, which is why we slow roast our coffee beans to gently coax out the complex flavors and aromas. With roots in the Pacific Northwest, where coffee is a way of life, we take our time in roasting and in training each master roaster in our artisanal approach. From the aroma to the full-bodied flavor, you can taste the time taken in every satisfying cup of Tully’s. Now we invite you to take your time discovering it.

Extremely Bitter And Acidic

Comments about Tully's Coffee Tully's House Blend Autodrip 12 oz.:
I don't know how this coffee could get so popular. I bought the 80 pack K-Cup and it's a good thing that I can return it to the store I bought it at. It is EXTREMELY bitter and acidic. At first, I thought my coffee maker dumped melted plastic into it but that is not the case because I tried it with a french press too. It has a taste similar to soap, earwax, and something really acidic. I will most likely buy a darker roast of another brand even though I like medium roasts better.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Tried and True

About Me Average Joe, Coffee Lover
I'm particular when it comes to good tasting coffee and having tried many brands and roast levels my husband and I both agree on the rich balanced flavor and Smooth almost buttery taste of this blend. We drink this everyday. It's perfect. Any coffee is going to taste bad if you don't make it right. After a short time of adjusting the water to grounds ratio we found the sweet spot and have been enjoying it every morning since then. I love this flavorful coffee.

I wanted to try something different besides my Sumatran or Italian roast. The description intrigued me so I ordered the whole bean & gave it a try. It did not disappoint. The discription is right on the money. Complex, satisfing & non acidic. Not to be brewed too lite or it loses some of the flavor quality. Better to buy a lighter roast.

One of the best coffees I have ever tried. I do like Stumptown, but this is a very excellent coffee with great aroma and flavor. This is my favorite Tully's but the Italian, Espresso, Madison, and Breakfast roasts are great as well.

This coffee is just plain awful. How could GMCR eliminate The Donut Shop whole bean coffe that I love and keep this swill. I HATE BITTER anything. And this is BITTER. Anyone who says they like it has a burned out palate.
The best coffee I've ver tried
I've tried many kind of coffee, but this is by far the best. I still try to get something new once in a while, but I could never find anything better than this. It's got the perfect taste that I wasn't able to find in any other kind of coffee.

I tried this coffee recently and fell in love with it. I love it's smooth, non-acid taste. I give this coffee a "thumbs up" and would deffinitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new taste in coffee. Starbucks you lost a customer to Tullys finest.

Tully's Best Blend
About Me Coffee Connoisseur
This is Tully's Best Blend by far. Don't know what the heck the guy was drinking when he said it was acidic, but the tones of this blend are quite even. This blend also works well if you one of those coffee drinkers who like to put their own spin on a blend by mixing flavors. I actually mix in about 1/8th of Hazelnut flavored coffee in some cases to round out the flavor for guests who like a lighter taste.

This is our everyday decaf of choice
from Longview, WA
We drink Tully's house blend decaf every day because we love the flavor. It even tastes good after an hour sitting in the coffee pot! We also like that it is reasonably priced for the excellent quality that it is. The only coffee we think tastes better is 100% Kona coffee.
