Product Details Return to Top Tasting Notes Bold aromas of toast and burnt wood prepare the senses for the intense flavors of an espresso. As a traditional espresso should, this coffee offers complex characteristics that tap into your taste buds. Bittersweet dark chocolate and soft woody notes set the stage for a rich mouthful and a long finish that is slightly salty. About Tully's® Some professionals need to approach their jobs slowly and with a great deal of care. Like tightrope walkers. Or brain surgeons. Or tattoo artists. At Tully's®, the same holds true for creating great coffee. It takes a lot of time and patience, which is why we slow roast our coffee beans to gently coax out the complex flavors and aromas. With roots in the Pacific Northwest, where coffee is a way of life, we take our time in roasting and in training each master roaster in our artisanal approach. From the aroma to the full-bodied flavor, you can taste the time taken in every satisfying cup of Tully’s. Now we invite you to take your time discovering it.

While the mouth feel isn't as luxurious as Illy or Lavazza coffees, it's flavor can't be beat. Originally I got some as a gift, now I order it from this site since it's not available in my area.Gift:YesComment on this review12/23/2009(0 of 2 customers found this review helpful) 2.0Disappointing By Coreyfrom Onalaska, WIProsSmooth TasteConsNo cremaThin Or Watery Mouthfeel/BodyBest UsesComments about Tully's Coffee Tully's Espresso Roast Whole Bean 12 oz.:This espresso is noticeably thin and produce little, if any, lasting crema. It is not my espresso machine, as many of the other espresso beans I favor produce a rich, creamy golden-brown crema. The flavor of this espresso blend is OK, but does not offset the disappointing appearance.Gift:NoComment on this review12/21/2009(3 of 3 customers found this review helpful) 5.0Tullys Express Roast Whole Bean coffee.. However, I found your website and now, I can order the coffee on-line and have it shipped directly to my home. Thank you. I have tried other coffees and none can compare to TULLYS.Gift:NoComment on this review11/27/2009(1 of 2 customers found this review helpful) 5.0Fantastic espresso... ridiculous price By Dennisfrom New EnglandAbout Me Coffee ConnoisseurProsConsBest UsesEspressoComments about Tully's Coffee Tully's Espresso Roast Whole Bean 12 oz.:I bought Tully's great Espresso exclusively for over two years. Loved it! Then the price doubled and I could no longer justify the expense. I suppose you won't publish this comment because it violates the "pricing" parameter, but... come on! [$] for a 12 oz. bag. Get serious.I do miss it... especially since I started enjoying it when it was Spinelli's in San Francisco.Comment on this review11/13/2009(1 of 1 customers found this review helpful) 5.0Tully's Express coffee beans By Kathfrom SonomaProsConsNo Tully shops in areaBest UsesComments about Tully's Coffee Tully's Espresso Roast Whole Bean 12 oz.:We have been drinking Tully's Express coffee for at least 10 years. My daughter was a manager at one of the Bellevue shops and got us hooked, as she did her sister and brother. We used to buy it in [...], but they don't stock it any longer and I have been going crazy looking for coffee with the same great flavor and taste. I finally decided to go on-line and thank goodness, I found this site and to top it off, you offer the coffee at a discount [...] Another plus is the expresso beans (our favorite) have less caffeine than the other blends. The darker the roast, the less caffeine.Gift:NoComment on this reviewDisplaying reviews 1-5Back to top
