That is half of the amount of sugar that you'll find in a can of soda, so it's a better alternative when I want something refreshing with flavor. The Acai Berry flavor also tastes less like a kid's drink than the Strawberry flavor. It's not a replacement for water, nor is it a health drink, but it's a delicious treat with the extra bonus of vitamins. I got a few samples as part of a promotion from Green Mountain and am adding it to my Club membership.Comment on this review12/11/2012 5.0Love it! By Mom to 3 Dsfrom ILComments about Vitamin Burst Acai Berry K-Cup:I was hesitate to try this as I'm not one on hot/warm drinks at all. Once I finally decided to give it a try, I loved it!Comment on this review11/21/2012 5.0Very good! By Lizfrom OKComments about Vitamin Burst Acai Berry K-Cup:It does have 20g of sugar. It also tastes a little like Koolaid. However, I really liked it. Good taste. Would be great for children and people like me who hate water. I've tried similar alternatives but the sweeteners give me canker sores so I would rather have real sugar.Comment on this review11/14/2012 4.0Mixed thoughts By It be me :)from Washington StateProsLove the flavorConsHigh Sugar N CaloriesBest UsesComments about Vitamin Burst Acai Berry K-Cup:Didn't even think to look at Sugar content for an herbal tea. My bad! VERY VERY HIGH SUGAR CONTENT...YIKES! Stinks when you are trying to "diet".But it IS quite tasty, hits the spot on a cool morning.Would not recommend to anyone trying to watch their health (weight, diabetics, etc). But for flavor, I would.Comment on this review10/30/2012(0 of 1 customers found this review helpful) 1.0Contains Sugar, 20g Of It...What? By Diane of Jack and Dianefrom Madison, ALProsBetter Flavor To StrawpomConstoo sweetBest UsesComments about Vitamin Burst Acai Berry K-Cup:Although this selection is much better than the strawberry pomegranate, it contains 20g of sugar (first ingredient on list). It has a nicer flavor component, true to an acai berry, but still a very sweet drink. Must add Ice to the rim and increase brew size in order to cut the sweet-this goes for both drinks.Comment on this review10/1/2012(2 of 3 customers found this review helpful) 1.0Too sweet By Jackfrom Cornelius, NCProsVitaminsConsSugarBest UsesA SweetenerComments about Vitamin Burst Acai Berry K-Cup:Read the first ingredient: sugar. Put it over ice: too sweet. Let the ice melt, put in more ice: too sweet. By the time it is drinkable you've lost most of the flavor. Take out the sugar please.Comment on this review9/10/2012(3 of 4 customers found this review helpful) 2.0Contains sugar By Kayfrom Boston, MAComments about Vitamin Burst Acai Berry K-Cup:I should have read 'more details' because I didn't realize it contained sugar and has 80 calories per k-cup. I don't consider 'sugar' to be in a healthy drink. It tasted okay but not great.Comment on this reviewDisplaying reviews 1-10Back to topPrevious | Next »
