This was my favorite coffee until some point in 2012. I emailed Gloria Jeans to find out if something had changed. I found out that "Our Butter Toffee was reformulated early last year due to the California restriction of Food Flavorings containing Diacetyl." Diacetyl gives foods a buttery taste - this additive is also linked to Alzheimer's disease (google it). I'm very glad they removed or use less of it (the email was not specific) but not happy with the taste of the coffee now.

We received a box of this as a present. Neither my wife nor I can drink it because of the chemical taste of this flavor. Maybe it was a bad batch. The Gloria Jean's macadamia nut was great, but the butter toffee tasted rancid.

We love this flavor. Smells wonderful but you can also taste the Butter Toffee flavor. So many times with flavored coffees, they smell great but are lacking in flavor...not this one.

This flavored coffee is a bit weak, for those of us who like a robust, strong coffee, but I find if I make a smaller cup, it's really quite satisfying. I would love it if they could make this flavor in a strong, dark roast version, but until then, will just enjoy it in smaller doses.

This coffee was fine. Just fine. I was hoping for a bit more buttered toffee and a bit less coffee, but that won't stop me from finishing the box.

I typically drink my coffee black, so perhaps it would improve with a bit of sugar.

I bought these when I first got my Keurig brewer, thinking they were like a latte. Of course, they weren't, but I enjoyed this flavored coffee nonetheless. I am not a fan of pre-sweetened flavors as they are generally too sweet for me, but this was not sweet, just caramel-scented. It smells SO rich while it's brewing, but the flavor is very subtle. I only gave it three stars because the coffee itself is pretty weak. It would be nice to see a dark roast offering with this flavor. I would definitely buy a sample pack. If you like strongly flavored, sweet coffee, then this will disappoint. If you like lightly flavored, medium-bodied blends, this will probably become a favorite. I didn't buy any more when I ran out, but I wouldn't be opposed to drinking it again if I were offered some at a friend's house or wherever.

This is an excellent after dinner coffee, it does not have the horsepower of most blends so it doesn't make a very good morning kick start for me. My wife and daughter enjoy it through out the day and they are true coffee junkies.

This is a favorite for my husband and myself. It is also a favorite among guests, because of how wonderful it smells up our house when we brew a cup. The aroma is catchy, and everyone wants to try it - and the taste is perfect.

After five cups I have concluded that this (for me) only works when heavily milked/creamed and lightly sweetened. And that means making this at 6 oz. adding about 4-5 oz white stuff, and microwaving for temp. It isn't an every day coffee, but I enjoy it every week or so now. However, the aroma both as I drink and hours later, if I leave the cup sitting around, makes my wife gag. I have to agree that this has a very strong aroma. It is not unpleasant, but this isn't a typical coffee that you drink and the smell is gone. I used a 6 oz brew of this in a chocolate cake recipe as part of the liquid and it was very nice. Also, DO NOT drink after taking fish oil capsules; fish and butter toffee belches are nasty!
