Traditional drip preparation was much stronger and the "eggnog" flavor was almost syrupy. The underlying coffee flavor was somewhat bitter, but overpowered by the "eggnog" flavor and the spices. It was similar to drinking eggnog with too much spiced rum mixed in (think Captain Morgan).It was better with the Aeropress because the overall flavor was less intense and a bit more of the coffee came through, but it was still unremarkable and not something I'd drink again.
