First, the beans possess a wonderful aroma that, when brewed, fills the room. Second, the cup delivers terrific taste. The East African beans offer acidity that creates a round mouth feel and flavors of grapefruit and tomato. This brew reminds me very much of a Kenyan coffee. If you insisted that I point out a flaw, I would say that the African beans are more dominant in this blend than the Indonesian beans. I have to search a little bit for what the Indonesian beans are adding. However, the beans from the island of Java add a subtle smokiness to the blend. I love this coffee! I recommend it highly to everyone, especially those who like African coffees.
