I was a bit disappointed with the vanilla flavoring. It seemed to just barely sit on the surface--if I didn't know that I had put a vanilla cup in the machine, I wouldn't have known it was suppose to be flavored. You don't want the flavor to overwhelm the coffee, but this was almost too faint to notice.
