Comments about Green Mountain Coffee K-Cup Southern Pecan:
The first time I tried this, a coworker brought in a variety of coffees. It was so good. By far one of my favorite flavors. It took a second for the flavor to come through and when it did it just was amazing. Left a fantastic but not too strong taste. I cold not wait to have it again. I could not find it in stores. I ended up ordering it from this site. However, when I tried it this time I could not taste the pecan flavor at all. The coffee was good but I was pretty disappointed to not be able to taste the flavor that came through the first time I tried it.It just tastes like regular coffee. Very hesitant on buying it again. I really love the flavor I had the first time. I just don't want to spend the money for the flavor, just to have it taste like regular coffee again.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Excellent flavored coffee
By PJ in Texas
I drink this coffee daily and I love it. Admittedly I like my coffee light and it just right for me. The nuttiness is just enough, not over the top. Excellent blending.

Southern Pecan K cups ???
I have been a fan for three years. This last batch I bought is weak. I weighed the cups against the last ones and realized they are 1 oz lighter???? How crazy...
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Did not like this coffee!

About Me Daily Coffee Drinker
8oz setting for this coffee made it brew very weak so I brewed it at the 6oz setting in hopes that it would be better and it was not. It was no longer weak but I did not like the taste. It had a chemical taste to it. The aroma while brewing was pleasant but it lingered in the machine itself even after I had brewed multiple cups of regular coffee. I had to flush the machine with water a few times to get the smell out.
would never ever buy this again

About Me Flavored coffee lover
I was so excited to get this coffee after reading reviews, but it was awful. I'm constantly searching for excellent flavored coffee and this wasn't it. It is roasted dark not light. No pecan flavor whatsovever in some of the cups and in others there is a magic marker kind of smell and taste. I don't know if I got a bad batch, but will never try it again.
Not what it used to be!

About Me Coffee Connoisseur, Health Conscious
I grew up in a country where coffee is the breakfast beverage of choice even for children. So I do consider myself a coffee connoisseur. I had had the Southern Pecan many years ago when I did temp work at a company in NY and I loved it. Recently I decided to invest in a Keurig and bought 2 boxes of the Southern Pecan, based on memories of good coffee at work...However, I am truly disappointed to find that it's not nearly as good as I remembered it (I actually do not believe that it's the same coffee albeit it is labeled the same). The flavor is very artificial tasting and quite frankly just plain old yucky! It's bad coffee no matter which way you say it. People who consider Yodels to be cake may like it!! For picky foodies...I say skip it.
My very favorite K-Cup!!

As close to the South as you can get !! Here in Mississippi, I spent many Saturday mornings in the Fall gathering pecans, knowing that my family would be making delicious pecan pies from them. If Southern Pecan coffee would have been around back then, it would have been the perfect compliment to those pies and pastries. Mississippi may be known as the Magnolia State, but until coffee can be made from Magnolias, Southern Pecan is sure to be my favorite flavored coffee. The only drawback: Unfortunately, it just doesn't last long at my house. Too good !!!!
Unexpectedly too sweet
from New Jersey
I was very surprised at how sweet this coffee was even before adding any cream or sugar. Usually other flavored coffees through Green Mountain have a bit of sweetness associated with the flavoring, but with the Southern Pecan, it was overwhelming. It smelled wonderful as it was brewing, but upon first taste it was as if I'd already added a couple spoonfuls of sugar to the cup. I had to brew a darker cup of coffee and mix it with this in order to bring it to a palatable level. Even my husband, who likes his sweet tea so sweet it would stun a hummingbird found this coffee to be over the top.
