Tasting Notes

When we changed the recipe for our Hazelnut coffee a while back, we made it creamier, more aromatic. Many of you loved the new recipe. And many took us to task.

And so we've tweaked the recipe just a bit ... and we think the result will prove to be a crowd-pleaser all around. Our new Hazelnut coffee offers the toasted, buttery hazelnut flavor that everybody loves — and, we believe — in just the right proportions.

Nutritional Information

Our flavored coffees are free of calories and carbs, and have no additional nutritional impact. We add no sugars or sweeteners of any kind. So while our flavors may taste indulgent, they're absolutely guilt-free.

Comments about Green Mountain Coffee K-Cup Hazelnut:

I keep reading the bad reviews about how this blend isn't roasted dark enough. I, for one, appreciate the light roast on this since my stomach is very sensitive and can only take light roasted coffee. There are so many other dark roasted k-cups out there and this was one of the very few I found that was light roast. It's perfect, don't change it!!!

Comments about Green Mountain Coffee K-Cup Hazelnut:

I agree with the other reviews that call for a return of the Dark Roast Hazelnut K cups. Since I can't get it anymore, I will use my single cup filter and buy ground coffee from other retailers.
It is more inconvenient, but I'd rather have a good cup of Hazelnut than what I can get here. Don't understand why you would retire such a popular flaror coffee, not good business.

Comments about Green Mountain Coffee K-Cup Hazelnut:

I'm from Holland and there I'm used to the dark roast of Senseo. In the USA I tried K-cups and they are quite close. After some testing I ended up with two favorites, the hazelnut of Green Mountain and a dark roast. I alternate between the two to get the best of both worlds. For me the top is still a good strong espresso from Italy.

Comments about Green Mountain Coffee K-Cup Hazelnut:

I really miss the Bold (Dark Roasted) Hazelnut that you've discontinued and replaced with a very weak version. It was THE ONLY flavored coffee on the market that was great. I, in fact, wrote to Green Mountain to ask them to bring additional BOLD FLAVORED coffees to market... GM, you're really missing a unique market opportunity by not doing more BOLD FLAVORED coffees!! And what do you do, but discontinue the only one that was on the market that was perfect!! Please bring it back!!!

            Bring Back Extra Bold Hazelnut

Comments about Green Mountain Coffee K-Cup Hazelnut:

I loved the Extra Bold Hazelnut. When it was discontinued, this was the recommended replacement. Not that it's bad, but it is not a replacement for the extra bold hazelnut, which was hands down the best coffee around. Compared to that one, this one tasted too watered down for my taste. I am so bummed.

Comments about Green Mountain Coffee K-Cup Hazelnut:

We make ice coffee in our Kuerig with this blend. We tried another brand of Hazelnut that they had at [...] and it was not as good as the Green Mountain. We also add a shot of choclate syrup to our hazelnut brew. We drink ice coffee most of the time ...rarely drink hot coffee...maybe that has something to do with the difference of opinion about the strenght of the coffee.

You, and 7 up, blew it. Why change a good thing. If some people don't like it, keep the old and, bring out a new product for the winers. I have to use 3 K cups of the "Noisette" on the smallest cup size to get anywhere near 1 K cup of "Extra Bold" flavor on the medium cup size.
