So far I've tried 6 k-cups. This is by far the best. Newman's Own Special Blend Extra Bold has a rich, round flavor that tasted great black and also great when I added cream. I like to put my brewer on the 10-oz setting, and the extra bold in this blend stands up to the extra water. I prefer a darker roast (such as the Italian Roast), but this is a very good everyday cup--not too strong, not too weak. It is consistently good in my opinion. I have never experienced any problems with the foil lifting or separating as some other reviewers have noted. I still purchase this frequently as I find it's a good go-to for all coffee drinkers, even those who profess to like lighter blends. My husband doesn't like dark roasts but will drink this without commenting, so I am guessing he likes it. It's always the first to be depleted when I have guests.
