I can't imagine this is actually how the coffee should taste so I imagine there was just something bad about the lot I recieved - it's literally so bad I can't imagine it getting across quality control.I'm reading the reviews and I'm really concerned about this one. A lot of people are complaining, and some of the 5-star reviews look planted. I'd suggest to stay away. When drinking hot coffee, I take it with a little milk and no sugar. Prepared in that way, I find that the flavor of this brew constantly makes me wonder whether or not someone has given me an un-rinsed coffee mug, as it tastes similar to dish soap. It's so bad that I can't even drink the stuff if it's served hot. Personally, I can't stand dark roast. This flavor is strong without being overpowering, so I like it, but if you're looking for a darker roast, you probably won't like it.
