I wait for it to come out every year, and boxes of this coffee were at the top of my wish list this Christmas. Coffee is more personal that we generally acknowledge. Personally, I can't stand dark roast. This flavor is strong without being overpowering, so I like it, but if you're looking for a darker roast, you probably won't like it. The gingerbread flavor is just enough yet not overpowering the coffee. I brew it on 10oz and the flavor is nicely balanced. I enjoy all kinds of coffee from regular to bold to flavored to light roast...if it's coffee I'll usually drink it. I decided to order this coffee for my "seasonal" selection. Unfortunately, I will not be doing that again. My sister made me my first cup not knowing that I prefer to brew my coffee on the regular cup size, not the large (there are 3 choices on my Keurig). I found the coffee to be wicked watery--so much so that I dumped it. I made a new cup right after on my usual setting, then added some sugar and a splash of cream. The coffee was still watery and tasteless. So, like Goldilocks, I tried once more on the smallest setting hoping the coffee would turn out just right. Turns out Goldilocks was luckier than I. The coffee looked darker and smelled stronger, so I was hopeful-but it was still terrible. It may have been a little stronger than the 1st cup, but it still tasted like someone had taken a great cup of coffee, added some cinnamon and then mixed it with equal parts water. So disappointing, especially when the other seasonal flavors (so far) have been so good. Maybe I got a bad batch, but I'm thinking it's more that this is just a bad coffee.
