Tastes like a late-summer Saturday morning. Our Fair Trade Colombian is a sunny, warming cup with aromas that recall Gramma's homemade apricot jam. In the cup, look for lime-citrus brightness and flavors of green apples and sun-plumped raisins. Its finish shimmers with sweet notes of grape and walnut. (This product is not organic certified.)
Rating: 88 Points (out of 100) (As
brewed in a Keurig B60 single-serve brewing device using a "K-Cup" capsule to produce a 6-ounce serving size): Aromatic notes of chocolate, sweet tomato-like citrus and orange. Brightly balanced fruit-toned acidity, with sweet orange notes turning toward caramel and milky chocolate. Simple sweetness in the finish. — Kenneth Davids, CoffeeReview.com, January 2009
A great tasting cup of coffee can give you a whole new perspective. It's a moment to pause, reflect, and reprioritize. That moment is what inspires us to make coffee that benefits everyone it touches. From carefully sourcing and roasting the highest quality beans, to supporting small farms and protecting the environment, we focus on what's important.
That's why we at Green Mountain Coffee® believe a good cup of coffee can change your day... but a great cup of coffee can help change the world.
We source coffees for our Colombian Fair Trade Select from cooperatives high in the mountains of Southwestern Colombia. Prominent among these is the Cooperative Association of Southern Cauca (COSURCA).
As if growing exceptional coffee weren’t challenge enough, farmer members of COSURCA have faced a number of threats to their livelihood, such as the ever-present threat from armed extremist groups who would have their land for illegal coca and poppy production. Even in the face of such opposition, COSURCA farmers have eradicated more than 500 acres of coca production, destroyed 17,000 coca plants, and ended cultivation of illegal crops on another 1800 acres... steps that were possible only with the additional revenue that Fair Trade coffee sales provided.

Comments about Green Mountain Coffee K-Cup Colombian FT Select:
In the morning I like a strong cup and like many reviewers, I wish there was more coffee in the k-cup, but if you want a perfect cup and are using a Keureg - just use the refillable k-cups and grind some of the whole bean Green Mountain Colombian FTS. Sure it is more work, but even though you are using more coffee - it is still cheaper than the pre-filled k-cups. If I am making more than a single serving - I skip the Kuereg and use a french press - and this is the best I have found for a smooth full bodied every day coffee.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I like coffee. I like to taste coffee. I don't like over-roasted coffee. Therefore, I do like light and medium roast, because: a) they don't taste burnt and b) they contain more caffeine because dark roast will actually roast out the caffeine. This tastes like dirty water, sorry to say. I guess I need to stay with extra bold, but not dark roast.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I like Colombian Fair Trade Select ok, but my favorite was Colombian Supremo!!!!!!!
The BEST there is.

This is one of the FEW K-cups that actually delivers a full measure of drinkable coffee when brewed in my Keurig B60. These K-cups (unlike MANY others) are packed in a way that does not impede or restrict the water flow through them or retain up to an ounce of water or more in them. BEWARE of others, particularly DonutHouse.

I love Columbian roast coffee, but at the large mug setting this tastes watered down. Makes a better cup at the medium setting. Overall, I love the aroma and sweetness of this roast.

Very Weak coffee.

The coffee had almost no flavor. I was very displeased with the quality and the taste. I drink tons of coffee during the day, and was so displeased with this coffee that I actually threw the k cups away.

This coffee is one of the worst blends I've tried. My guess is the people that like it, must enjoy a light roast. I found it completely undrinkable even on the 6 oz setting. My son enjoys it with a splash of french vanilla syrup, but not on its own, so it didn't go to waste. It has however lasted longer than any other blend I've purchased, because it's not his favorite either.

This is THE best Columbian I've ever had. I love, love this coffee in the morning. I've even started drinking coffee more often now I love it so much! It has a wonderful aroma and tastes just as good. It's not too strong, but not at all weak and tastes very fresh! I use it with a touch of milk, no sweeteners. I'm new to K-cups and this is the first coffee I went for since Columbian is what I've always liked, but this went far above my expectations. I'll be trying others since the Keurig is my new toy, but I know this will always be my 'go-to' day to day coffee I love it so much.

Potentially an excellent coffee. I'm a Columbian coffee drinker and have been for decades. The apparent problem here is that they're trying to maximize profits by not putting enough coffee in the k cups. As a result, it's just a weak cup of coffee. Try Dietrich's Columbian if you can find it.
