I bought a variety pack with my purchase of a kcup machine so I could sample coffees before committing to whole boxes. However, I drink gingerbread-flavored tea (not a kcup) and just love it, so I thought this coffee would have to be good also and bought a 18 cup box without sampling it.That assumption was a mistake. I couldnt even choke this offensive brew down, having more in common with motor-oil than a pleasant java. (Yes, I add copious cream & stevia, but there was NO saving this.) And the aroma that wafted around whilst brewing, intended to wake your taste buds to a delectable delight that awaits your tongue? Very evocative of burning plastic. (This from my husband, his sense of smell being not at all sensitive like mine. To me, the smell was so bad I couldn't describe it for being overwhelmed with revulsion.)Are they sure that's even coffee grounds in there? Tried both and fell in love with the Gingerbread. Can't explain the negative comments - maybe they didn't realize cream and sugar/sweetener required? Maybe brewed it too strong. Spices can be bitter and should not be brewed as strong as regular coffee. This coffee has the right balance of spices and coffee flavor and hope it comes back in K-cups as I now have that type of brewer.
