GRND French Roast:My husband & I love this coffee! I have tried other french roasts, but they are always bitter. This one is soooo good and not bitter. I usually use hazelnut creamer, but with this coffee I prefer just plain half and half. It's flavor is so good I don't want it mixed with any flavored creamer. I highly recommend this coffee to anyone who enjoys a strong, full-bodied cup of coffee. I hope they continue to sell this in whole bean, as we prefer to grind our own coffee right before brewing. GRND French Roast:I purchased this product when trying some different varieties (from Green Mountain and others) and I have yet to try any other coffee in my life that matched this. I ground the beans myself and brewed in a French press, and with a little cream, this coffee is fantastic. I have been trying other French Roasts (from that big West Coast mail-order roaster ;-), and my local micro-roasters) and I have yet to match Green Mountain's FR. Even before opening the bag, just smelling the exhaust from the one-way valve, you know this is going to be amazing. Opening the bag reveals the dark, oily, beautifully roasted beans. It's the most amazing thing I have ever drunk. It's dark, smoky, and strong. At the same time, with a little cream, it's sweet and caramelly; NEVER bitter. I couldn't imagine anything better for those who like strong, deep, dark roasts.
