I was a bit disappointed because it smelled different than it tasted. After experimenting quite a bit, I found that to get the flavor right you really need to put cream in it. Milk alone doesn't seem to cut it, and drinking it black hides most of the vanilla flavors. The store where I bought it stopped carrying the whole bean decaf which was pretty annoying but at least they still had the caf. At some point I noticed the coffee no longer had any character to it. I thought maybe I got a bad batch and tried again; no good. That's when I went on line and found they changed the coffee. I guess they had their reason(s) but it's too bad, I sure won't go out of my way anymore. This last bulk purchase also showed more globules of oil on the surface after brewing than the original - very noticeable.
