An engaging blend that reveals itself in layers. A darker-roasted base offers mellow, toasty flavors and a velvety mouthfeel, while lighter-roasted, select American beans provide clarity, and a winning finish. The result is a blend that is at once brisk and bright, yet undeniably smooth.
"A round bakers’ chocolate character in the aroma, with subtle berry, citrus and aromatic wood notes. Balanced acidity supports the dominant sweet chocolate tones in the cup. A long finish with fruit-toned cocoa complication, suggesting cocoa hulls or nibs."— Kenneth Davids, CoffeeReview.com, September 2008
A great tasting cup of coffee can give you a whole new perspective. It's a moment to pause, reflect, and reprioritize. That moment is what inspires us to make coffee that benefits everyone it touches. From carefully sourcing and roasting the highest quality beans, to supporting small farms and protecting the environment, we focus on what's important.
That's why we at Green Mountain Coffee® believe a good cup of coffee can change your day... but a great cup of coffee can help change the world.
We source coffees for our Colombian Fair Trade Select from cooperatives high in the mountains of Southwestern Colombia. Prominent among these is the Cooperative Association of Southern Cauca (COSURCA).
As if growing exceptional coffee weren't challenge enough, farmer members of COSURCA have faced a number of threats to their livelihood, such as the ever-present threat from armed extremists groups who would have their land for illegal coca and poppy production. Even in the face of such opposition, COSURCA farmers have eradicated more than 500 acres of coca production, destroyed 17,000 coca plants, and ended cultivation of illegal crops on another 1800 acres... steps that were possible only with the additional revenue that Fair Trade coffee sales provided.

Comments about Green Mountain Coffee 10oz GRND FT Colombian Select:
My favorite coffee, hands down. Please bring back the whole bean version. I purchased a coffee maker with a built in grinder just for your whole bean coffee, and now you no longer offer it. :((
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Tried Green Mountain for the first time during a recent leaf-peeping trip to Vermont. A few blends have been added recently to our nearby grocer's shelves.

The greatest Colombian coffee made!
from Critz, Va.
About Me Coffee Connoisseur
The very best Colombian on the market. The best coffee I have ever tasted bar none. I have searched the world over for a great anytime coffee and nothing beats this one. Great aroma, a balanced, smooth caramel/ cocoa finish. The only down side to this coffee is it's not offered in whole bean any longer. Please bring the whole bean back!!

I use the pods in my Keurig brewer and it is my favorite 'any-time' coffee.
My favorite anytime coffee
from Wetumpka, AL
I've tried about 10 different coffees for my Keurig brewer and this is the one I come back to time and time again. If you want a smooth coffee with no bitter after taste this is the one. I do not like bold coffee or weak coffee. This is just right!
Nice flavor, good body

W ereceived a bag of this coffee as a gift. We also received the Guatemalan Single Origin also, but we found the Columbian to be the better of the two. It's great when brewed from an auto drip coffee maker, and I find that it doesn't that awful acidic aftertaste like other coffees do.

Unfortunately, this is the one GM coffee I cannot recommend. It smells and tastes similar to the coffee served by Dunkin Donuts stores. There are much better choices available. If you like Colombian, I do enjoy Newman's Colombian Especial--much better than this offering.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Best Columbian Coffee Ever!
